Fully Programmable Wireless Hand Controller Direct access to any test, optotype size or fixation in a wireless, non-directional remote control. Our remotes stand up to years of daily use. All buttons are fully programmable so that the control can be customized to the preference of the doctor or clinician.

E-ETDRS The Electronic ETDRS protocol available on Next Generation 2008 Smart System provides the ability to not only use Smart System in your daily examinations, but when participating in clinical trials, too. No additional equipment or systems are required to use the Smart System!

Protocol One™ Create custom testing protocols with ease, allowing repeatable and consistent automated vision testing. Protocol One makes it easy to create special protocols by age-group or separate protocols for each doctor in the practice, allowing the practitioner to step through the pre-defined series of charts and tests with simplicity. Choose from all available optotypes, including the exclusive LEA Symbols, specifying multiple or single lines at any available size to quickly create the customized protocols.

Distance Stereo M&S Technologies now makes it possible to use shutter glasses with an LCD monitor for unprecedented accuracy in testing for distance stereo. Red-Green and Red-Blue anaglyph stereo testing is standard on all Smart System 2008 systems.
